Welcome to the very heart of the Heythrop Philosophy Society. Since it's inception, the society has been the locus for serious philosophical discussion. Each year, experts in their fields are invited to visit the college and engage with students on a wide variety of topics. It's a great chance to see professional philosophers go about their business, to broaden your experience of contemporary research, and to put your own questions to a sharp mind at first hand. This year, we have tried to make the programme as accessible and interesting as possible. All speakers are hand picked for freshness, ability to communicate, and a willingness to push, nudge, or otherwise gently poke at boundaries. [ jump to the dates ]
